Who we are

Burkey Web Studio is a small web design business operated by Lucas Burkey in the Orlando, Florida area. You can reach us at lucas@burkeywebstudio.com.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into our quote form: your name, business name, email address, and optionally your phone number and current website address, along with what you need and the description of your business you provide. Our server also records the date and time your request was received.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

Why we collect it

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and discuss a possible website project. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to any marketing list.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in a private database hosted by our website platform provider. The records are not publicly accessible and are only readable by Lucas Burkey. If email notifications are enabled, a copy of your submission is also sent by email to lucas@burkeywebstudio.com through an email delivery provider.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of project discussions. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time by emailing us.

Spam protection

Our form includes a hidden field and a basic timing check to reduce automated spam. These checks do not profile you or track you across websites.

Your choices

Email us to request a copy of what you sent, a correction, or deletion. Submitting the form is entirely optional — you can email us directly instead.

Demo pages

The demo pages on this website are fictional concepts created by Burkey Web Studio. Forms on those pages are labeled as demonstrations and do not send or store anything.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.

Draft note for Lucas — review before publishing

  • Name your email delivery provider once notifications are switched on.
  • Decide a retention period if you want a specific one stated (e.g. 24 months).
  • Add state-specific privacy rights language if you decide it applies to your customers.
